Thank You, Creative BC

Sometimes it's important to slow down and simply say thank you.

When Paul Archer handed me the keys of his gallery to gave me the opportunity to build a Community Hub for artists everything changed.

At the same time, Creative BC believed in the vision behind JayzWayz Productions. Their support gave us the chance to build something that will continue creating opportunities for artists and our community for years to come. For the first time, JayzWayz Productions had a real home instead of operating out of my one-bedroom apartment.

Their investment gave us the opportunity to strengthen JayzWayz Productions in ways we couldn't have done on our own.

With this support, we completed our professional recording studio, expanded our creative spaces, improved our branding and marketing, invested in new equipment, and laid the foundation for workshops, artist development programs, and educational opportunities that we’re excited to continue growing.

More importantly, this project has allowed us to create a space where artists at every stage of their journey feel welcome.

Whether someone is recording their very first song, learning a new skill, connecting with other creatives, or preparing for their next release, we want JayzWayz Productions to be a place where people can learn, create, and grow together.

Over the last few months we’ve already seen the impact. More artists are reaching out, more collaborations are happening, and our community continues to grow every week. Seeing people walk through the doors with an idea and leave feeling inspired reminds us why we started this in the first place.

This funding wasn't just an investment in equipment or renovations...It was an investment in cOMMUNITY

Every week something new is poppin..artists are recording music, producers are collaborating, creators are filming content, people are learning new skills, and community members are making connections they may never have made otherwise. That’s exactly what I hoped this place would become.

I know what it’s like to feel like you don’t have a place to belong. I grew up in foster care, made a lot of mistakes when I was younger. That’s why creating opportunities for other people has always meant so much to me.

This has never been about Jonny G

It’s about creating something that will still be here years from now. I want to leave behind something that’s equitable, sustainable, and built to last. Something that my daughter Shy & Cleo, our family, our artists, and our community can continue to build on. A place where everyone feels welcome, no matter where they come from or where they’re starting. JayzWayz Productions means everything to me because it’s proof that people can change, dreams can grow, and communities become stronger when we invest in one another.

Grateful Beyond Words

Being nominated for a community award was something I never imagined. I see it as recognition of what our entire community has built together, not something I’ve achieved on my own.

To everyone at Creative BC, thank you for believing in this vision and helping us take this next step.

JayzWayz Productions means everything to me because it’s proof that people can change, dreams can grow, and communities become stronger when we invest in one another.

I’m not chasing millions of dollars. I just want to build something honest that helps people, supports the people I love, creates opportunities for others, and leaves a legacy that’s measured by the lives it touches—not the money it makes.

I am so proud of what we've built together! And we're just getting started.

And most importantly thank you to every artist, volunteer, instructor, partner, supporter, and community member who has walked through our doors. Every one of you has helped shape what this has become.

Much Love, JonnyG
