To whom it may concern,

My name is Antoine Hernández, and over the past weeks I have had the opportunity to share my Hip-Hop Freestyle sessions at Archer.

Archer has given me the opportunity to share not only dance, but also the values that are important to hip-hop culture: community, creativity, expression, respect, and knowledge.

Through these sessions, I have seen people from different backgrounds and levels of experience come together through music and movement. The intention has never been simply to teach steps, but to create a space where people can participate without pressure, explore their own movement, express themselves, and connect with others.

Spaces like Archer are important because they make dance, art, movement, and cultural exchange accessible to the community. They give artists the opportunity to share their practice while allowing people to discover new forms of expression and connection.

I believe spaces like this make a meaningful contribution to Victoria’s artistic and cultural community, and I am grateful to have been able to bring my work and the spirit of hip-hop freestyle into this space.

Such a great space operated by such wonderful people! Jayzwayz/ACH has so many opportunities for younger people (and older people!) to connect with one another and with creativity, and provides a safe, alcohol and drug free environment for doing so. This is a space Victoria needed for a LONG TIME.

The community and space for creativity I’ve found at Jayzwayz/ACH have helped me profoundly in finding myself again and in recovering from some very serious health problems. So much gratitude.

See you there!
