Remembering Nox: Unreleased Music Coming Soon

As we approach one year since losing Nox, I’ve been thinking about the music he left behind and the people who still talk about the impact he made in Victoria’s hip-hop scene.

Nox, whose name was Tyler McDougall, was a gifted lyricist and an artist who meant a lot to people around him. His passing after struggles with addiction was a painful loss. Some people consider him one of the strongest lyricists to come out of Victoria, and anyone who spent time with his music knows why his words mattered.

With the blessing and permission of his father, Bryan McDougall, we’re preparing to release some of Nox’s previously unreleased music through JayzWayz Productions, in collaboration with Manifest Marketing. The goal is to make the music available for people to hear and to keep his voice and work alive.

We want to handle this with care and respect for his family. More details about the songs and release dates will be shared when everything is ready.

This is about remembering an artist, a son, a father and a friend. Thank you to everyone who has continued to speak his name, share his music and look out for one another.
