We’ve been working on ways to give more people a chance to try something creative, and DJ lessons are one of the programs we’re excited to offer at JayzWayz Productions inside Archer’s Community Hub.
The idea is simple: get your hands on the equipment, learn how it works and start building confidence. These are practical sessions where you can ask questions, try things out and learn from people who actually work with music. Private DJ lessons are also available, and we’re gradually adding more creative courses.
Not everyone can afford to sign up for a class, and I don’t want that to be the only reason somebody misses out. We plan to keep a small number of supported spots available for community members facing financial barriers, depending on space and resources. Reach out if that would help you take part.
We’re also looking for support as we build up the classroom. Extra controllers and equipment would help us teach more people, and we’d love to connect with anyone who can donate gear or help with funding.
You can learn more about current lessons at https://jayzwayzproductions.com/lessons/. To help support the programs at ACH, visit https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/donation-form/archers-community-hub. If you know somebody who would enjoy learning to DJ, please share this with them.
